The terminal is particularly useful for simple uses which require a dedicated text-based communicator or driver card reading functionality.
The module acts as a simple communicator and enables information transfer between the driver and the controller, via Skaut reader. The communication includes short text messages (of up to 140 characters) or configurable driver’s duty modes. Additionally, the terminal is equipped with a driver card reader. As soon as the data from the card has been read, it is sent to the servers and is available for the controller.
